Sleep Deprived

My sleep patterns have definately been crazy. I've always had some insomnia but this is over the top. I'm having periods where I'm awake for more than 24hrs then sleep only a few hrs then awake again. My mind has been racing with all the things I wanna get accomplished. I've been up all night but I still plan on refinishing my kitchen table today. This ought to be interesting since I've never refinished anything in my life. The man at Lowe's was very helpful though. He even gave me a little pamphlet on refinishing furniture. I'm up for the challenge.

Fired!

The plan is that I start updating this thing more often. I got fired for the first time in my life. Although unjust it is definately difficult. I've spent the last few weeks being depressed about it.

If I could ever give anyone any advise I'd say.... never never never... have your best friend as your boss. It turned out to be the biggest nightmare in my life.

I thought I was fired for insubordination but on my unemployment letter it states that I falsified a visit on 09/01/11. This is absurd and completely untrue!

I completed that visit as said and if they would have contacted the family I met with the pts son and daughter inlaw they would have verified my visit.

Anyway when your boss/best friend (ha ha... aren't I a sucker) wants you fired you get fired.

Everyday is a learning experience. The hard thing is that I loved what I did and loved my patients and there families.

I truely believe that everything happens for a reason. I was working all the time and when you are a salary employee they own you.

Now I'm focusing on growing my relationship with God, my husband, and my kids just as it was intended.

Everyday is a blessing and my work in hospice will never be forgotten.

Cat fiasco

Our cat was missing for the last 2 weeks and Bella has been devistated. The cat sleeps with her in her bed.

A while back we got 2 kittens I have pics on here of them. They were brothers. The gray cat went missing a while back.

I could have sworn that I saw him in the window at the screen of this lady that lives behind us.

Anyways Bella was on the trampoline and comes running in the house crying telling me that the lady that lives behind us has our cat.

I didn't want to believe it but I went outside by the trampoline and then I saw him.
I went over and knocked and said I think you have our cat.

She said well I took him to the vet and spent $400.00 on him.

She had him declawed. Anyone who knows me knows that that is a pet peve of mine. Cats have claws for a reason and it's there defence so I don't believe in getting them declawed.

She said well do you want to take him back..... duh of course.

I then told her that he's already been to the vet and had all his shots. She told me the vet said he had fleas and a tape worm. I guess they really took her.

I do feel bad for her though the cats keep her company. Anyway he is back home and was snuggled up in bed with Bella last night.

Long Time since I Blogged

Happy to be back. This past year has been so crazy and my Full Time Job has really taken over my life. Now it's time for me to take my life back and set some boundaries. I'm gonna get back into things I love. Crafting, DIY projects, Decorating. Crocheting, Making Jewelry, and of course spending time with the husband and my kiddo's. Life is good. It always amazes me but I truely believe that God is in charge and everthing happens for a reason.

Business License

I applied for my business license today. It took me half the day to figure out what all I needed. My next endeavor will be doing my 1st craft show. My husband anxious too. He just wants me to make up for my spending. Beads it's definitely an addiction. I ordered my business cards the other day and now I'm head to Walmart to buy card stock to make earring card and a calligraphy pen. I'm going to try to do my own signature but if I don't like it I'll have them printed.

Happy 4th

I hope everyone is having a happy 4th of July. We are having a busy day. We headed to my mother in-laws house for lunch and a swim. Next we will head to my parents house for lots of fun. Fireworks, food, horeshoes, and board games. I will post some pictures later. Again happy 4th.

Lazy Day

I had such high hopes for today. I didn't get much of anything accomplished. I did vacume the living room. Found a cute avatar for my twitter account. I'm just so frustrated with all this marketing I'm trying to learn online. It's crazy! They say promote promote promote well that's what I'm trying to do. I keep on trecking even though I'm very stressed about it. But, everything I've read says it just takes time lots of time. I feel like I'm putting every spare second into jewelry promoting.
